This exercise, which is also known as Downward Dog Split, is similar to regular bird dog except that instead of reaching your legs back one at a time from an all-fours position, you do it from a downward dog position.

How To Do It:

1. Get into a comfortable downward dog position. Breathe in slowly and then lift your right leg up as you exhale. Try to get it in line with your upper body.

2. Inhale as you lower your right leg and then lift your leg leg on an exhale.

Do this exercise 20 times with each leg.
