Day 211: Plie Squats

These squats are great for toning your legs, your core, and your bum. They may remind you of ballet class when you were a little kid. They are also great to do while you are playing peak-a-boo with a kid in a high seat.

How To Do Them:

1. Stand with your legs wider than hip distance apart (you can hold on to the back of a chair if you have balance issues). Your toes and thighs should be turned out.

2. Engage your core and keep your back straight as you lower yourself down until your bum is in line with your knees.

3. Lift up onto your toes while still in the squat.

4. Straighten your legs as you rise up.

5. Lower your heels.

Repeat this 20x as many times today as possible.
